I will always love a nice structured coat (a Burberry trench is in my “must-buy-when-I-get-rich list”), but the fur flat cap was an unnexpected accessory! I’m not a fan of hat caps, I usually find them tacky, but I would make an exception for these cuties.
Even though we are all fully absorbed in summer activities, there is no reason why not to get slightly excited about our winter wardrobes, especially if it means wearing fur pieces like these fabulous accessories by Roger Vivier. We are so happy he made a proper comeback a few years back, because since then the brand has delivered nothing but top notch shoes and bags. On that note, my favourite piece of his autumn winter 2011 is definitely the fingerless gloves, perfect for driving around in a vintage Jaguar. Or perhaps a Toyota, which is more likely to be the case.
You can always count on Christian Louboutin to incorporate some fur into his fantastic footwear collections, these ones are from autumn winter 2011. The combination of lace and fur on this bootie is extraordinary. And we also love the giant pouf on the suede platform.

The Prada Autumn Winter 2011 collection is all about texture: juxtaposing soft, luxurious fur collars with stiff, shiny, plastic-looking skirts. This fall collection is pleasantly colourful, and a step in the opposite direction of the camels and greys we’ve become so accustomed to for Fall. The fur, of course, was no exception. Brightly coloured collars add an interesting quality to these incredibly detailed pieces.
We’ve all been lusting after those beautiful Prada fox stoles, and this latest collection is definitely covet-worthy!

Here are a few gorgeous accessories featured in a recent Vogue Paris online story about keeping warm and stylish (by the way, congratulations to Emmanuelle Alt, the new Editor of French Vogue!) You can see the rest of the story here, these were a few of my favourite pieces.

Prada Spring Summer 2011 campaign, shot by Steven Meisel.
I loved Prada‘s spring summer 2011 show, the bright colours, beautiful prints, and striking silhouettes certainly made it one of the strongest of the season, so I was thrilled to see the new campaign images have been released.
My favourite pieces in the collection were definitely the multi-coloured fox skins that the models held as they strut down the catwalk. The striped foxes definitely caught my eye, I love that a designer brand is incorporating fur into its spring summer collection. And why not? A fox stole is a great alternative to a jacket when wearing a cocktail dress in the spring.
