Fall campaigns 2011: Louis Vuitton

I just can’t stop looking at these sublime pictures. The combination of textures are absolutely stunning: purple shearling, jade patent leather, lacquered python.. exactly what the Louis Vuitton girl would wear to travel.

As Marc Jacobs explained, the fetish influence of this collection came from a conversation with LVMH’s Bernard Arnault about women’s “inexplicable obsession with bags. And that got us started thinking about passions, and any of the disciplines that require effort and work and commitment.”

I always knew I was a Vuitton girl!

This is one of the most exciting moments of the year: September issues are coming out! Make place on your mood board for the beautiful ad campaigns and out of this world editorials (my magazines always loose half of their pages).

A Sonia Rykiel red hot fur sleeved top is totally what I would wear for an mondaine afternoon coffee in Paris… talk about boho-chic done right!

Burberry campaign: mink flat cap

How adorable is the Fall 2011 Burberry campaign?

I will always love a nice structured coat (a Burberry trench is in my “must-buy-when-I-get-rich list”), but the fur flat cap was an unnexpected accessory! I’m not a fan of hat caps, I usually find them tacky, but I would make an exception for these cuties.

Ginta Lapina in Vogue Germany

Not many maids wear fur on the job, but then again, not many maids look as sexy as Ginta Lapina. We love this shoot by Greg Kadel for Vogue Germany, especially the fur skirt featured above. A must have in every fur lovers wardrobe, if you can spare the extra bulk around your hips…

Princess Jasmine with a fur caplet

If princess Jasmine went shopping in Paris, she would definitively wear Louis Vuitton head to toe, including the fur caplet. I love the pants as much as the fur. Raspberry and purple is a color combination I need to try before the end of the summer!
